Note: Candidates located within commutable distance to an office location (New York-NY, or Reston-VA) are required to report onsite 2x a week.

About This Role: 

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead our demand-side product strategy and execution. This role will be responsible for our full demand-side product suite, which includes how advertisers and agencies interact with our data across all touchpoints - from off-the-shelf segments in DSPs to our self-service Proximic Activation Platform where customers build custom segments. You'll thrive on tackling complex problems, adapt to evolving priorities, and use cutting-edge tools like AI and rapid prototyping to amplify your impact and articulate product vision.  

As the senior leader representing demand-side customers within our product organization, you'll collaborate across teams to ensure our solutions drive adoption and revenue growth while meeting evolving market needs. We're looking for someone who thrives on tackling complex problems, can quickly adapt to evolving priorities, and is excited about using cutting-edge tools like AI and rapid prototyping to amplify their impact and articulate product vision. 

What You'll Do:

Product Development & Management  

  • Drive product strategy and execution across all demand-side touchpoints, including our front-end platform and data offerings as they appear to advertisers 
  • Define clear product requirements, prioritize features, and collaborate with analytics and engineering to deliver high-quality product enhancements 
  • Establish metrics and KPIs to measure product performance and user adoption 
  • Gather and analyze user feedback to inform product decisions and improvements 
  • Use AI tools and rapid prototyping to accelerate ideation and communication of product concepts 
  • Develop a deep understanding of different customer segments and how their needs vary based on their interaction model with Proximic 
  • Lead the vision and strategic roadmap for our entire demand-side offering, including identifying new market opportunities and potential partnerships 
  • Make high-impact decisions on product direction that align with company objectives and growth strategy 

  

Market & Technology Expertise 

  • Understand and lead our ID-free strategy implementation for demand-side customers, a key growth area for the company 
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless data delivery and activation through partner platforms 
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies in the AdTech ecosystem 
  • Work effectively with DSP partners like The Trade Desk to optimize integration of Proximic's offerings 
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on demand-side programmatic targeting and audience strategies 
  • Anticipate market shifts and proactively evolve our product strategy to maintain competitive advantage 

  

Cross-Functional Collaboration 

  • Collaborate effectively within our product team, partnering closely with the Supply-side and Data product pillars 
  • Partner with Account Management and Sales teams to understand client needs and gather feedback 
  • Work with Analytics to develop insights that drive product decisions and improvements 
  • Coordinate with Marketing to develop materials that showcase our capabilities to the market 
  • Influence cross-functional stakeholders and executives on product strategy and priorities 
  • Mentor junior product team members and provide guidance on complex product challenges 

What You'll Need:

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years focused on AdTech, MarTech, or data platforms 
  • Strong understanding of the programmatic advertising ecosystem, including DSPs, DMPs, and data targeting 
  • Experience with user-facing products and platforms, with a focus on usability and customer experience 
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with enthusiasm for tackling complex challenges 
  • Experience in at least one of these areas: user-facing products with a focus on UX, or data product management 
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders 
  • Comfort with modern product development tools and methodologies, including AI-assisted workflows 
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience 

  

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience at the intersection of data products and user experience design 
  • Knowledge of audience data, cookieless/ID-free targeting solutions, and privacy regulations 
  • Experience with rapid prototyping tools to communicate product vision 
  • Background in programmatic buying, planning, or digital media strategy 
  • Experience working directly with DSPs like The Trade Desk, DV360, or similar platforms 
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities 
  • History of successfully leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders 
  • Track record of mentoring junior product managers and developing team capabilities.
  • Compensation: $150,000 - $165,000; commensurate with experience.
